Given that all bars, restaurants and music venues have been shut down due to the COVID-19 virus, top Maltese Black Metal act Sahhar will be taking his music into cyberspace to reach out to the metal scene by giving a live studio performance via internet on Friday, March 20 at 8.30pm CET.

Sahhar first emerged onto the local scene in 2006, the brainchild of Marton Saliba. Inspired by obscure themes such as death, the occult and the impending doom of mankind, Sahhar has to date released more than a dozen albums and EPs, and opened for legendary metal bands Destroyer666 and Mayhem. Sahhar's latest album, Qilla tal-Qrun, was nominated in two categories at this year's Malta Music Awards.
