EVO IPTV recently launched Malta Vision Televison (MVTV), a new and exclusive local music television channel. The aim of the music channel is to promote Maltese music on the international IPTV platform. The station in fact uses the latest technologies in IPTV broadcasting to reach both local and international audiences.
MVTV airs non-stop video clips by Maltese artists, singers and bands. ''This is a first for our country.", Deo Grech who, along with Adrian Spiteri takes care of the content that is aired on MVTV. "There has never been a local TV channel focusing on local talent, so we came up with this new concept". The digital TV channel has been broadcasting non-stop music videos, featuring hits from the likes of Red Electrick, Airport Impressions, The Travellers, Winter Moods, Big Band Brothers, Planet Seed, The New Victorians, The Crowns, Infinite Loop, Amber, Kevin Borg, Joe Roscoe, Ira Losco, Claudia Faniello and even international star Lauren Aquilina, who has Maltese lineage.
In a further comment, Grech said "the station's success will be determined by the artists who will entrust us with broadcasting their music videos, and of course the viewers who will be able to enjoy watching their favourite video picks on our channel".
