Further to the release of their debut album U D-Dinja Tkompli Ddur, which was released last October exclusively during the weekly ROCKNA radio show on Radio 101, local band Mistura’s profile has been rapidly gaining ground. Not only has the duo since expanded into a full band, but its music has also been embraced by an audience much wider than their early efforts had initially reached via the band’s participation in the L-Ghanja tal-Poplu festival. More recently, apart from playing several live gigs in different locations around Malta, Mistura’s music, namely the song Issa Tard Wisq also made it to the Music Alliance Pact (MAP)’s May playlist alongside other downloadable selections from South American, Asian, Australian and other European acts.
