CHESS GALEA VIDEO PREMIERES ON MVTV

Chess Galea's new video premieres on MVTV today

The music video for Chess Galea's latest release will be premiered exclusively on the MaltaVision Television (MVTV), Malta's first all local music TV channel, at noon CET today. The channel, which broadcasts on the EVO IPTV platform, was launched just two weeks ago and has already clocked up an estimated 38,000 viewers per week.

Hard to Handle is the first music video release from the London-based Maltese artist's debut album 1869, which was released locally last June (read more here). Fun, cheeky and sassy, the song talks about embracing one’s self in all aspects.

The music video was filmed near London in the UK, choreographed by Vicki Barclay and shot by Without A Landmine, with the idea of capturing Chess enjoying the things she loves most, namely dancing and singing, while also portraying the amount of work and practice that goes into making music independently.

"It takes hours of training and work but the results are worth it", Galea said in a comment. “I just wanted to have fun making music again, as in this industry it can get dark sometimes, so I wanted to just do something I enjoyed - I hope you enjoy it too”.

1869 is available from all major digital stores.

To watch the official premiere of the video later today at noon CET, click here or download the free EVO IPTV app from Google Store (Android) or Apple Store (Apple).
