Memories is the title of Ben's second solo single, in which he further explores the lush pop sound he first revealed on last summer's debut solo release, Candles.
A mixture of subtle blues with a pronounced retro pop lean , the song has a fresh sound that fits neatly within the contemporary music scene. Like Candles before it, the new single reveals a different style to the one many of us were used to hearing Ben play, yet this new direction is one that suits him to a tee, and is successfully bringing him in touch with a new audience.
The single is accompanied by a music video that takes us back to the 1980’s while showing off Ben's acting skills too. Set in a bowling alley, the video has a 'lost love' storyline that perfectly captures the song's narrative.
