SING OUT YOURSELF: RAISING FUNDS FOR NEW ENTERTAINMENT CONCEPT

Sing Out Yourself is a new single released to raise funds for Backdoor Jam, a new online entertainment series in aid of out-of-work performing artists in Gozo And Malta.

The current pandemic has brought the performing industry to a standstill worldwide, causing financial anxiety for thousands of artists, event organizers, venues and other industry workers. These people rely on live events to make ends meet and there are thousands of people across the Maltese islands that are now feeling the hit. This time of year is no exception as live entertainment is usually the beating heart of the season’s celebrations.

Performing Artists Keith Anthony and Andrea Britton have joined forces on a self-penned Christmas tune called Sing Out Yourself. Recorded at Noise Studios with Pawlu Portelli (drums), Izzy Azzopardi (keys) and Pinu Zammit (bass) aka Rubberband the songs release will help raise funds for their new Gozo-based entertainment series launching 21st December. Together with GITH Magazine, they are asking fans to contribute financially by buying the single and donating to the forthcoming series, Backdoor Jam.

Backdoor Jam: Weekly Intimate Performance Sessions From The Island Of Gozo.

Zeppi’s is one of Gozos' most respected grass roots live venues and the perfect place to host Backdoor Jam - a new weekly series of mini gigs on YouTube. In solidarity with out of work artists and venues across the islands and beyond, the team hope to create something positive from a negative, by putting Gozo firmly on the digital music map and all important work to local artists.

Be Part Of Malta’s History. Tune in to the first Backdoor Jam on 21st December via YouTube.

Buy the single and donate to the cause at Backdoor Jam's Bandcamp site.
