AIRPORT IMPRESSIONS: BERLIN VIDEO LAUNCHED

Airport impressions have released the music video for their latest single Berlin, the second lifted off their second album Mariette, which was released on April 9. The catchy tune has been doing well in terms of radio airplay, consolidating the success already achieved with previous single Hymns of June. The new music video, shot on location in Berlin, Vienna and Malta, was directed by renowned Maltese videographers Ian Schranz and Daniel Cassar with the involvement of Keith Falzon on the slo-mo effects and Sophie Abraham and Gea Ebbinge in the acted sequences.

In a comment video director Ian Schranz said “I was instantly hooked by the mood and melody of the song, and this helped everything fall into place whilst making this video. We’re very proud with the outcome and this is undoubtedly at the top of the list of videos I've produced to date." The band was equally enthusiastic about the end result, with frontman Errol Sammut adding that "working with such a professional team was a great experience; the fact that most of the production team were also musicians facilitated the process".

Airport Impressions will be performing all of the songs on Mariette on June 7 at the Greek Theatre in Ta' Qali as part of the Earth Garden 2014 Festival.
