Quite some years have passed since pop artist NV had first appeared on the local music scene with 2006's Open your eyes single, and a few more since she the release of her debut album Envy three years after that. A nominee for both for the Best Newcomer award in 2006 and the Best Solo Artist award the year after that at the BMA's, NV went on to release several other singles, among them No Stranger, No Regrets and If I Could, all of which proved to be were popular radio hits on the local airwaves. Following a break from music, she is finally back with a brand new single, Leave me alone.
Written by Sean Vukovic and Wil Pace, the new song was recorded and produced by the former at Vukoville Studios. Retaining the dominant pop element that has been at the coere of all of her recorded work so far, the new release also signals the start of a new chapter in NV's career, which should eventually lead to the release of her sophomore album, although no dates have yet been set at this stage.
