JAZZ MOODS: A PASSAGE THROUGH TIME IN JAZZ

jazzmoods_banner.jpg

The intimate Music Room at St James Cavalier will provide the setting for Jazz Moods, an evening concert of live music that will offer ‘a passage through time’ by way of a specially selected repertoire of jazz numbers. The performance will feature three established local musicians, namely Tony Sammut on piano, his brother Simon on bass and young Joseph ‘Bibi’ Camilleri on drums. Known for their dedication to music and jazz in particular, the three musicians will be joining their musical forces for a concert that promises an entertaining evening of jazz numbers associated with some of the jazz greats; legends such as Thelonius Monk, Wayne Shorter, McCoy Tyner, Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock and many more who, through their dedication, talent and perseverance helped to further the development of jazz and inspired generations of aspiring musicians.

Jazz Moods will take place on Friday, December 5 at The Music Room in St James Cavalier in Valletta. The performance starts at 8pm sharp. Tickets cost € 6 and are available either online from www.sjcav.org or at the door. For more information click here.

This event is supported by Charles Grech & Co Ltd and St. James Cavalier
