Following several months spent in the studio working on new material, Maltese teen pop artist Stefan is back with a brand new single, Escape. Deeply rooted in dance music, the song was written by Matt 'Muxu' Mercieca, produced by Carlo Gerada and mixed and mastered by Elton Zarb. Fresh and flaunting a modern twist, the new single hints at a new direction that ventures beyond the more dominant pop core of the singer's previous releases. "I'm very happy to be working with one of the most successful local song-writing teams", Stefan said in a comment, adding that the song is essentially about a relationship that isn't going as expected, with the subject seeking to get out of the situation.
