In the year that has passed since releasing debut single Strings left to fray, Forty Days of Rain has continued to build up a steady following boosted by follow-up single Everything you want, regular radio airplay and the band's sporadic live performances. It's a trend that shows no signs of letting up too soon either, especially with the release of the band's third single Stay. Firmly rooted in Forty Days of Rain's signature melodic alt.rock timbre, the new single is a confident step forward for the band in that it is also accompanied by the release of their first official music video. In the words of frontman Brendan Jackson, "the video features an amazing performance from actress and model Rachel Gauci". The video is available to stream on the band's YouTube channel while the single has already picked up airplay on most local radio stations.
