Popular pop-rock act The Crowns are back with a new single, and it’s all to do with Christmas! Do I Like You More in Christmas?, the title of the song, poses an intriguing question, the answer to which obviously varies according to each listener’s circumstances. Released well in time to build up momentum as the Christmas season draws closer, the song seeks to raise awareness on how genuine the emotions felt during the festive period are; a sentiment conveyed by way of a tune bearing the band’s signature melodic drive.
Releasing a Christmas single has been on the band’s bucket list for some years already. “We hope this single will put a smile on as many faces as possible”, the band commented about the music video for the single, which sees Freddy 'Farfar' Cuschieri playing a 'retired' Santa Claus, looking back at the joy and smiles he has brought to so many children around the world and revisiting old memories that brought him much solace and peace. The music video was directed, produced, filmed and edited by Jean Pierre Gatt, a long-time collaborator of the band.
The Crowns are Gianluca Capitta, Chris Ciantar, Jean Paul Mollicone, Luke Vella Clark & Victorio Gauci.
