On Saturday, December 19, Electronic Music Malta (E.M.M.) will present the screening of the documentary I Dream of Wires, produced by Robert Fantinatto and Jason Amm at the St. James Cavalier cinema in Valletta. This documentary is about the phenomenal resurgence of the modular synthesizer; exploring the passions, obsessions and dreams of people who have dedicated part of their lives to this esoteric electronic music machine. Besides the screening of the documentary, this event will also include a live performance on a modular synthesizer, both before the screening and during the intermission. The event is open free of charge to all E.M.M. members (don't forget your membership cards!), whilst a donation of € 5 would be gratefully accepted at the door from non-members - please note that space is limited. The screening starts at 7pm.
