WINTER MOODS ANNOUNCE SUPPORT ACTS FOR ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

The New Victorians and Joe Roscoe will be opening for Winter Moods at the band's 30th anniversary concert this Saturday, June 13 at Fort St Elmo. Both acts have been gaining ground within the local music scene, with The New Victorians releasing their debut album Seeker Seeker last week with a dazzling performance at the Earth Garden festival. Joe Roscoe, on the other hand, is back on the island after a fruitful spell in the UK, which will almost certainly to lead to new opportunities for the young singer-songwriter.

Commenting on the choice of supporting acts, Winter Moods frontman Ivan Grech said, "we are delighted to share the stage with young, talented musicians", adding that both The New Victorians and Joe Roscoe are gifted artistes who have a bright future ahead of them. "It has always been our aim to showcase new talent during our concerts and we are certain our audience will enjoy these performances". Winter Moods' performance will no doubt feature songs spanning the band's prolific 30-year career in music, among them classics like Sarah, Marigold, Everyday Song, and My Neverland as well as new material from their latest album, such as Days of my Life and Everlasting.

Tickets for the 30th anniversary concert are €15 for general standing and €25 for Inner Circle Standing (which includes a copy of The Journey CD). All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Puttinu Cares. Tickets are available from www.ooii.com.mt or by calling 80074117.

The concert is supported by BOV, the Marigold Foundation, Coca Cola, Jack Daniels, Hard Rock Café, Renault, BMIT, Antica Gelateria, Nexos Lighting and Best Team Audio.
