Following the success of its first two events, Trackage Scheme is back with yet another day festival, this time under the name ‘Gestalt’. The central principle of Gestaltism is that the mind forms a global whole with self-organizing tendencies. This principle maintains that when the human mind forms a percept or gestalt, the whole has a reality of its own, independent of the parts. Who knows what perceptive realities each one of us will conjure on the 4th of July! Gestalt psychologist Kurt Koffka claimed that "The whole is other than the sum of the parts" however this is often incorrectly cited as "The whole is GREATER than the sum of its parts" Trackage Scheme identifies with the latter principle; a community of artists and enthusiasts (the whole) can achieve more together, than alone. Held at The Roof Top at the Gianpula Complex in Rabat, this event will host another pool party with a completely revamped line up. On the same lines of the previous two events, ‘Gestalt’ will showcase an eclectic selection of quality Maltese music including live acts, bands and DJs (full line-up as per flyer).
