TENISHIA'S THANK YOU PARTY

For the fourth year in a row, Maltese DJs Joven Grech and Cyprian Cassar, better known as Trance music duo Tenishia, have been voted among the world’s Top 100 DJs, consolidating their position as one of the top acts in their field on home turf as well as at an international level.

The duo first broke into DJ Mag’s annual Top 100 DJs list in 2011, clinching the #50 position (their highest to date) in the 2012 list. Each year, more than 35,000 DJs from all over the world hope to make it into this high-profile list, and to date Tenishia remains the only Maltese act to make it to the Top 100, a feat which, with the support of their global fanbase, they have repeated four years running. Commenting about this year’s results, Tenishia explained that “there was a much higher number of DJs competing this year, and the list was heavily influenced by the American scene”.

Despite a stronger EDM presence, Tenishia still managed to place at #73, making them one of the World’s Top 10 Trance Music DJs. The top spot once again went to Hardwell, who performed at this year’s Isle of MTV concert, while other leading names such as Armin van Buuren, Tiesto and David Guetta made it to the Top 10. The Top 100 DJ List is organized yearly by UK popular magazine DJ MAG since 1999 and is the only official DJ Ranking poll based on public votes.

Tenishia’s position among the world’s top DJs is also reflected in the massive Facebook following they enjoy (currently around the 180k mark and constantly growing) as well as the several music awards they have picked up for their extensive repertoire of original productions and remixes. Despite enjoying such widespread success and popularity, it’s worth noting that this duo has always stayed true to its Maltese roots and fans, and as a thank you for their unwavering and loyal support, Tenishia will be throwing a thank-you party on Saturday, November 15 at The Dome (Aria). Entrance is free with invite or €10 without invite, with a limited number of VIP tickets available at €10. The event is sponsored by Vibe FM and Springfield.
